Damian Stoy is highly respected coach, running biomechanics specialist and certified Chi Running instructor who loves to share his passion for healthy running with runners of all levels. Damian found his passion for running over 10 years ago. But a severe running injury in 2002 kept him from running for over two years. After years of trying just about everything conventionally used for recovery, nothing helped. A few doctors and physical therapists even told him he would never be able to run again! Yoga and specific nutrition started to heal his knees but running was still very painful.
Damian learned it wasn’t running that caused the injury but how he incorrectly ran that did. After researching and trying several running technique methods, Chi Running changed his life!

For Damian, finding Chi Running was truly a gift. Not only did Chi Running change the way he ran, it allowed him to run pain-free and eventually enter the world of ultramarathon running.
